Keynote Speakers


Prof Marina Dabić is a Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, the University of Dubrovnik, Croatia and the School of Business and Economics at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. From 2013 to 2022, she was an adjunct professor at Nottingham Trent University in the UK. She is a visiting professor at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and the ICN, France. She has authored over 250 Scopus and WOS-indexed articles and edited ten books with Springer, Edward Elgar, Routledge, Palgrave and De Gruyter.
She is Editor-in-Chief of Technology in Society, Associate Editor of Technological Forecasting & Social Change and Strategic Change, and Senior Department Editor for IEEE Transactions on Management. She is ranked in the top 2% of scholars in business and management (Stanford list 2022;2023; 2024). She publishes her work in top-tier journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, Journal of Business Horizons, and Journal of Business Ethics. 90% of her publications were published in Q1 listed journals in WOS and/or Scopus. Prof. Dabić has supervised nine PhDs and participated in over 20 PhD committees worldwide. She is a panel member for the European Research Council (ERC) and Horizon Europe, a reviewer for the European Science Foundation and a grantee/partner in 20 EC-funded projects. She is also the Strategic Director for Accreditation at the triple-accredited AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA Faculty of Economics and Business University of Zagreb.

Prof. Felix T.S. Chan is a Chair Professor at the School of Business, Macau University of Science & Technology. He received his BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brighton University, UK, and obtained his MSc and PhD in Manufacturing Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, UK. Prior to joining Macau University of Science and Technology, Prof. Chan has many years of working experience in other universities, including the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the University of Hong Kong, the University of South Australia, and the University of Strathclyde. His current research interests are Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, Distribution Coordination, Decision Making, and AI Optimization. To date, Prof. Chan has published over 16 book chapters, over 470 SCI/SSCI referred international journal papers and over 330 peer-reviewed international conference papers. His total number of citations is > 23,000, and his h-index = 75. Prof. Chan is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong. Furthermore, based on recent research by Stanford University about the impact of scientists (Top 2% listed), Prof. Chan has been ranked in the Top 2% worldwide for five consecutive years (2020-2024).


Dr Viktor Prokop is an Associate Professor at the Science and Research Centre, Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Pardubice, Pardubice, Czech Republic. He is the author or co-author of more than 70 articles indexed in Scopus/Web of Science databases. He published his works in journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Energy Policy, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, R&D Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, and European Journal of Innovation Management.
He is an Associate Editor for SciPap — Open Access Journal (WoS and SCOPUS). He is also one of the editors of the book Business Models for the Circular Economy: A European Perspective, published by Springer. Viktor Prokop primarily specialises in the innovativeness and environmental behaviour of firms in Central and Eastern European countries. His current research interests include innovation ecosystems, (eco) innovation determinants, twin-transition and open innovation models.
